"Batman and Robin" eliminates what made the third installment enjoyable and doubles down on it's unsuccessful elements with a more ridiculous tone, cringe-worthy dialogue and hammed-up acting performances.
With this in mind, it ultimately makes it the shining example of what not to do when adapting a comic book to the big screen just as its predecessors were the shining example of everything you are supposed to do.
