Review of Batman Forever (1995) by Nolanlundgaard — 23 Aug 2018
Batman Forever was disappointing, having neither the epic plot of the first nor the amazing acting job in the second. I was super annoyed that they changed Batman actors. The special effects were horrible compared to that of its predecessors.
In addition to that, the story wasn’t even that good, the entire two hour movie was Two-Face and the Riddler trying to kill Batman. This seems overused by now, as this is the second movie’s premise in a nutshell.
To its credit, Batman Forever has some really good plot twists, but sadly not enough to lift it from mediocrity. The biggest eye-roll of the entire film was that Forever contradicts previous Batman films, saying Two-Face killed Bruce Wayne’s parents.
