Great animation and action but a few disappointments and unnecessary acts just make it good enough. This comic book adaption based off the Dark Knight Returns is not great but good because of a few things.

1 disappointment was Robin was a girl now I know its part of the comic but its about the movie not comic. Anyways robin is robin except a girl its nice to see a female robin but its an okay disappointment.

One good thing is the animation with water flying, lightning striking, blood spattering, its well designed in many ways. The animation is one of the great things the movie offers and brings the movie to life.

Another bad thing is the fights between Batman and the mutant leader they are action packed but thats not the problem. The second fight was unnecessary because batman is just beating and nearing killing him batman doesn't kill.

Another good thing is the last 2 fights you may be thinking "didn't you say you they are confusing?" Yes I did I never said the fight sequence was bad. They are entertaining as one of the best animated batman movie fights in my opinion! They are fun to watch especially to animated fight fans or violent fans.

(i am none but a little bit) So my conclusion: Action-packed, disappointing, beautifully animated, confusing, and just plain entertainment. 3 stars 78%.
