Review of Battleship Potemkin (1925) by James H — 29 Dec 2009
This certainly has to be ranked as one of the greatest films of all time. It is visually stunning, a real piece of art. Amazing and hauntingly unforgettable, and the scenes on the steps is one of the greatest ever filmed.
Sergei Eisensteins direction is remarkable, what vision and insight he had. A one of a kind classic, brilliantly edited and a piece of film history. A must for any serious movie buffs.
