Mr. Bean was always at its best when he was failing to get to grips with an everyday situation but here, to make it work for the big screen, these are swept to one side in favour of a bigger situation that only works in patches.
Looking very dated now, Rowan Atkinson is still brilliant in the lead although it's just not as funny or inventive as it needs to be.
