"Beautiful Boy" is a long set of very good song (that somehow can't get along with the images) and two good performances. Nothing more. The movie, although honest and sincere, it is a drag.
I sympathize with the real David Sheff and all, but if I be honest, after a while watching you begin to feel the need of substances in order to finish it. Dull.
