"Before I Fall" is a movie with a plot it's easy to guess, but in a way, it realy isn't. The thing it tries to tell you is pretty clear and obvious, yet I feel like I had to watch this story.
Of course it wasn't like the most unique, life-changing experience ever, yet it dealed with subjects that should be discussed. I liked it because I really liked Deutch's portrayal of her character, I'm just glad this movie turned out as it did.
The only issue here is that Netflix as a platform really cares about teen drama and YA stories and it feels like everything they do they do in the same typical fashion. It's not grade A cinema of course, but it's a nice experience.
