Review of Before the Flood (2016) by John R — 01 Dec 2016
What the hell is wrong with you people. This isn't some kind of documentary to be judged on artistic value or cinematography as if we're looking at Native Americans on a Reservation, Meth addicts in Missouri, or Evangelicals in California.
This movie speaks to everyone who alive and those that will come every come to be born on this planet. If you watched this film and believe in Climate Change or became convinced because thereof, there is no reason why this film doesn't deserve five stars.
If National Geographic is stand for anything, and if Decaprio - holding the title of UN Messenger of Peace is to have achieved anything, this film is the opus magnum for both parties. Ashamed that we sit here judging this film on subjective points, when the message is objectively true.
