The popular method of non-linear movie plots was probably started by this movie and Pulp Fiction. It's not hard to imagine that Alejandro Iñárritu may have been influenced by this movie.
Before the Rain is a foreign film that confronts social issues and drama with great plot and visuals, as opposed to others which leave you bored, depressed and morally exhausted.
