Review of Belle de Jour (1967) by Andrew S — 07 Dec 2012
Astounding work by Catherine Deneuve showing here her true star power and talent and Luis Bunuel's careful screenplay and pacing make this film both challenging, tensely paced, sexually explorative (especially for this time period) and well worthy of multiple viewings as its ideas and themes of blurring reality with fantasy only get stronger with age.
