Review of Bigger Stronger Faster* (2008) by Eric B — 12 Feb 2012
This was a very well done documentary about how performance enhancing drugs has affected the country as a whole and the hypocrisy behind the use of PEDs. I am glad Bell was able to interview Ben Johnson and Johnson I still believe was made a sacrificial lamb by the international track and field community for the 1988 Summer Games.
Johnson could not have been the only one. I also loved the bit on the change of attitude of Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Governator is suppose to be a down-to-earth American dream but in reality, he was far from it.
I guess if I make a bunch of cheesy action films and take steroids, I could be governor too. The hypocrisy needs to stop and Bell delivers on that message well.
