Review of Birdy (1984) by Rob C — 31 Aug 2009

I saw this for free at the Texas Union on the UT Austin campus when the movie first came out in late '84. I remember the place being full of students who were rowdy in the beginning and settled down as the movie progressed.

At the end we were all on the roller-coaster and cheering like crazy at the end. It made me cry then and it still does now. It's a very moving story about the power of friendship. If you love birds like I do, you will also be very touched!
