Review of Black Adam (2022) by Egoborder — 20 Dec 2022
It may seem harsh to sink an entire movie based on a few supporting characters, but the family in this movie is so obnoxious that they go beyond harmless plot devices or thematic foils for the super-powered characters.
They don't have a single moment that breaks the movie, but their presence is so ubiquitous that gradually the movie gathers mass like a snowball of irritation until the end is an avalanche. To be honest the rest of the movie hardly rises above this, but at least no other flaws are so front and center to the audience.
This is an okay rental if you have something else to do like laundry or an online bartender certification.
