Review of Black Panther (2018) by Caroline C — 20 Jan 2019
Average acting, with the exception of Michael B. Jordan who elevated his role in the film, average script, just a rip off of the Lion King among others essentially and highly overrated overall. This isn't even in the top 8 Marvel films in my opinion.
An all black ensemble doesn't equate to a masterpiece and everyone is acting like it does. It is a good movie and worth watching, but the hype surrounding this movie was not fullfilled cinematically.
It is predictable and overall just an average film.
