Russ Meyer has a go @ blaxploitation & there is where the rub lies. As a Russ Meyer movie this is a piece of shit/as a blaxploitation movie it's not bad. Personally I prefer Meyer's bosomania & this I find the least of his films.
Even though there's a deplorable salty racist tongue something seems to be missing..besides giant sugar boobies. The camera work that I love in Meyer's other works seems rather lackluster. If you were just starting to watch his films & you started here you would wonder what all the fuss is about.
For Meyer's completist but I suggest you watch something great like Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill! 2 dozen times over instead.
