Based on a true. Story. Loosely based. Very very loosely based. Although a good job acting by Adam driver, the movie is far from the true compelling story of the real african American officer who infiltrated the kkk.
The movie was so focused on bringing a message, that it left little time for story, and no time for a true story. Spike Lee spent all his time on bad political propaganda. Whitewashing the truth to make a point.
I want my two hours back.
