Boasting impressive visual imagery, a plot filled with subtle analysis of humanity's relationship with artificial intelligences and technology in general (even if it feels frustratingly slow at all times), career-defining performances for Sean Young, Rutger Hauer and Harrison Ford, and one now-iconic soundtrack by Vangelis, "Blade Runner" is the crown jewel within the science-fiction field and, definitely, one of the best films ever made.
