Honestly, I rented this a year or two back, must not have been in the right mood, wrote it off as boring and never watched it through. Mood has a lot to do with our perception of a movie. I was 100% wrong about this movie.
It’s deep, it’s dark and intelligent. No spoiler, but it does tie into the original. I absolutely loved its quiet suspense filled build up and futuristic atmosphere. It’s an awesome movie! Make sure you are in a calm, settled mood going in.
It’s not going to blow you away with over the top action and if you don’t pay attention you will totally miss the plot.
