Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Luke D — 19 Nov 2017
Visually stunning and gripping the whole way through. The movie is a glorious use of dystopian sci fi in an era where the themes of the original book and movie seem plausible. The directing is incredible and leaves me begging for an extended directors cut.
2049 should leave other big budget sci fi films asking how they can be more than just a movie, how they can show a theme and leave audiences not just questioning but also wanting more 10/10.
