Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Ryan V — 17 Feb 2018
A very worthy sequel. It builds upon and respects the legacy of the original, while blazing new ground. Gosling is superb as our new hero and Ford makes a welcome return. There are very deep themes being explored, and the movie expects a you to be smart enough to find your own answers.
The visuals are stunning. All in all, this is science fiction at its best.
