Review of Blade Runner 2049 (2017) by Carlos R — 15 Feb 2018
The implications are so deep. This is not only a perfect sequel, it is a perfect science fiction story. Too slow for the typical audiences, too dark for the masses. But so are many of the best movies ever made.
The cast is impressively dedicated, and the inclusion of Ford is not forced: he is not starring, he is contributing to a complex story that goes back and forth. And that is good cinema.
