Review of BLAME! (2017) by Dubeau — 01 Apr 2018
Blame! has an interesting premise. But the story has it's problem. First it moves rather slowly. Two, the dialogues did repeat the same information twice in the movie. If you have a narrator that explain the story and one of your character repeat it again, it's pretty bad, especially since there wasn't any new information.
The animation are extremely well done, The action scenes are very frantic and most of them are very fluid and controlled. The drawings are very technical with great care for details. The main character Kiri is somewhat mute and not easy to like.
Overall I had fun watching it because some scenes were very iconic. I give it a 65%, but I wish they wouldn't have made the mistakes they did in the story.
