When I saw on Netflix that a Bleach live action movie was added I was both excited and surprised. I'm a big fan of the anime series and have always secretly wanted to see a live action adaptation be made.
THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME. The producers and actors and the whole production crew really nailed what a live action anime movie should be. The style and writing as well as the directing and effects are all very well done.
The movie only tells the very beginning of the Bleach saga but it's a perfect introduction to the series and story for new audiences and a fantastic retelling for existing fans. I won't give away too many details but I highly recommend giving it a watch if you're into action anime, intense sword action, fantasy/sci-fi or even if you just want to check out something new and different.
5 out of 5 Kahns for this brilliant adaptation. (Disclaimer: if you don't know what a "Kahn" is then you'd have to watch the original series lol).
