Review of Bleed for This (2016) by Liam H — 13 Sep 2017
It's a really uplifting movie but it lives up to it's title and at times is not easy to watch. The story is interesting and there are good relateable characters in it. Vinny's father, himself and his boxing coach are most interesting but Vinny's family and management team are also intersting as side characters too.
The theme's in this movie are executed well. It really feels like the 80's, the family vibes showcase an era without phones and transports you back to that time. The story itself is incredible and uplifting.
At times it is hard to watch and it feels like a drag when vinny is badly injured. Also it may be a 1 time movie that you may not pick up for a 2nd viewing. Apart from that: Amazing guy, amazing story.
