Review of Blonde (2022) by Ratedrex — 28 Sep 2022
An Academy Award nominating performance by Ana de Armas. She not only performs the tough depressing role of playing Marilyn Monroe, but she embodies her. You almost start to believe that you are watching Marilyn herself.
The movie, however, is a downer. The pacing is off. Plus, we really don't see how and why Marilyn became a such big star. I wouldn't watch it again.
