Yes this movie is 3 hours long. Yes skips ahead and going from color to black and white feels a little disjointed at times. Very much so this movie is disturbing and uncomfortable to watch at times. Being said I haven't seen a movie this bold in a long time.
The cinematography is fantastic with art as the main goal. The acting is suburb especially ana de armas. Words like stunning and brave don't mean anything anymore but she literally laid herself bare for all to see.
This movie intentionally makes u feel. It's more a high 8 low 9 outta 10 but just for the sheer courage to make a movie like this in 2022. lifts it. A must see for any who want to c what true film can do to u emotionally.
This was an exercise in unabashed unapologetic film making excellence.
