Review of Blossoms in the Dust (1941) by Joel A — 20 Nov 2013
The classic story that was just simply made for cinematic re-telling. The story of a woman in Texas hungry to help children less fortunate.
Greer Garson is usually sensational as the lead & Walter Pigeon is great also. This in many ways isn't really a Christmas film but it's surely is a weepy it's a real tear jerker.
It's a gorgeous colour film that is a human story & just simply well made, although it's very Hollywood it's an interesting film that is worth a watch.
