Review of Blossoms in the Dust (1941) by Cynthia P — 11 Sep 2007
This was my favorite movie as a child that has since gone missing. It is a wonderful movie that shows how the love of one woman could change the life of a child. I love Greer Garson! The way she stands up for illegitimate children against the government was very inspirational to me as a woman and a teacher.
And I will never forget when Tony has to go away...I cried every time. I would say this is an overlooked jewel of a movie that should be more widely circulated.
