Review of Blue Beetle (2023) by Damigamermxus — 23 Aug 2023

You will only like this movie if you are 12 years old.

The plot was basic, predictable, unoriginal and it was very generic superhero movie. People thinks this is the Ironman of DC but it's not even close. And the latino culture was lame.

I'm Latino from Mexico and the Mexican family was very annoying, cringe and very stereotypical, not every Mexican families act like that. And the ecxess of latino music was unnecesary. The jokes were lame and unfunny especially the grandma scenes and the unfunny uncle. And the sister was unlikable and cringe and a MisMarvel ripoff.

The love interest looked forced and her lore was boring and overdone. The writting and dialogues were BAD, like it was written for 10 years old to laugh at every forced mexican bad word they said. The fighting scenes were cool but the no killing nonsense was lame, the CGI was decent. And the villians were not interesting and forgettable, and you could predict the secondary villian would turn against the main villian. And the whole family message is all over the movie and gets old, and the scene where they cry looked forced.

To sumerize, this was a generic DC superhero movie with a plot we have seen too many times before and it just passes the time for me, but kids might love this and spam this movie all over Twitter. So it's a 6/10 for me.

And now with the things I dislike outside the movie.

The Director is an a$$hole and very woke, he made a joke about Batman being 'Faccist' and it was ment to be funny but it isn't. And people complained and the director made fun of them on Twitter saying 'My job is done here'

And this line:

“That seems a little…”.

“Sexist?”.

This line feels out of place and its very woke.

And of course the movie director is from Puerto Rico, so thats why he obsessed with the Latino culture in this trash movie.

So I would put this a 3 just for this review to be negative and the movie deserves to Flop.
