The best way I can describe this movie is an amazing performance trapped inside a mediocre movie. Rami Malek absolutely hits it out of the park as Freddy Mercury but the script is not on the same level.
It takes a very PG approach to on the most R rated people in music. It is not all bad but it could have been so much more.
