A really interesting film this, not one you can easily categorise but you'd certainly recommend others to watch to make up their own opinion. The first half is in many ways a traditional slow western albeit with a constant unease about what the threat to the main characters is, is it something otherworldy or supernatuaral.

At it's conclusion the film is like a Grindhouse offering with some real gore and shocks but you go with it because of the rich characterisation that has gone before. It's not a perfect film by any stretch but it's interesting and original for sure.
