Review of Boston Strangler (2023) by Imthenoob — 27 Mar 2023
It's a decently acted but very generic crime procedural. It does a solid job at retelling an interesting story, in this case, the realization that there is a serial killer in Boston, and how a pair of women ended up breaking the story.
However, the real-life story just doesn't carry enough weight behind it to warrant being a feature-length film. It's a very generic, by-the-numbers movie that ultimately feels more like an imitation rather than trying to be its own thing.
When you watch it, You'll soon realize that it just trying to copy what made other films (such as Zodiac) so great.
