Review of Bowling for Columbine (2002) by James B — 23 Oct 2009
Michael Moore is at it again! I have to admit I am some-what a fan of his but I'll try to remain neutral. In this trigger happy country Michael has started to explore problems with gun craze. A gun at a bank? Blind people owning a gun? A dog with a gun? All of this is in this movie.
I have even my own personal story about a fake gun (to make a long story short I brought a fake video game light gun to school and even though I handed it over without protest and they knew it was fake they called the cops on me after I said 'your overreacting' in the pricipals office).
But back to the movie review, Michael Moore while a great filmmaker does smear the truth a little. A great film showing how messed up our gun policy is. Everything in this movie is 99% fact and just be wary of whats opinion.
Even if your against gun-control watch this movie. My recomendation? Rent before you buy because it's more or less a one time watch. 5 NRA membership cards out of five.
