Review of Boy Erased (2018) by Zack R — 21 Jan 2019
The movie was good, but was convoluted at times with the different memories and characters. I wanted more from Jared and his development than I got. The climax of the movie felt hollow from what it could have been with more in the moment character development, rather than the past exposition.
I realize a lot of that was in the book, but it could have been done a little more elegantly.
