Review of Bridge of Spies (2015) by Bkm — 08 Feb 2016
The acting is excellent, the screenplay is smart and the parallels to current events give the proceedings a timely and morally relevant quality. Yet despite all of its admirable traits, Bridge of Spies never truly excites or elicits any genuine emotions.
It's as chilly as the East Berlin winter that the protagonist must deal with for the majority of the story.
