Review of Bridget Jones's Baby (2016) by Fay H — 18 Sep 2017
Although the heavier parts of the plot get a little bumpy-the dudes drop in and out like it's nothing, their character development too often reduced to quick shifts and sudden realizations-the jokes themselves bounce brilliantly.
And ultimately, who cares if the male characters are somewhat shallow and convenient? As they should, the ladies take center stage here, and they are roundly hilarious (especially Thompson, who steals every one of her scenes).
