I think the reviewers that are putting this film down don't like it when shown the plain truth! The fact that pedophiles, saddists and power hungry nutters have hidden behind the veil of holiness in all religions to abuse and control people, that women and childern were seen as chattle from the word go is laid bare here.

.. That it always does not have a happy ending as other have complained here as well. I applaud the truth shown here! But I do agree with them saying it could be shorter in run time.
