Despite what they say, you are not always a homophobe for not liking this movie. As revolutionary as it may be, you are allowed to dislike something purely because it's not a good movie. The main character is constantly obnoxious and preachy, with no growth over the course of the movie.
Cheap and stereotypical gay jokes relying on meta-referential humour used consistently with little to no laughs elicited - worrying in a romantic comedy.
