Review of Brubaker (1980) by Cha T — 19 Nov 2008
Not as broadly appealing as many of Redford's films, and all the better for it. "Brubaker" succeeds by suggesting as much, or more, of the horrors of prison life as it shows. Also features outstanding supporting performances from Yaphet Kotto and David Keith, and a very early film role for Morgan Freeman.
