Hammer were losing steam fast by the 1970's, but they had enough drive left to knock one last classic out. Captain Kronos is the original Vampire Killer (don't mind that dreadful steampunk VanHelsing from a few years back). Come on, he has a Hunchback Doctor as a sidekick, who rides about in a cart full of stakes!
It's camp, it's chessier then a Wisconsin State Fair but is saved by great performances and a sparkling script. Another great movie for Halloween.
