Review of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017) by Tbeit2 — 18 Jun 2017

This movie is actually surprisingly decent. It has a lot of funny jokes, many of which work with both kids and adults. The characters are all enjoyable, if not very deep, and the plot moves along fast and the movie never lets up.

And despite the movie being made on a lower budget (they even make jokes to that effect) but it was hilarious and the animation was still very good. Make no mistake, this is still a kids movie and some of the humor isn't going to land with the adults, but the movie has enough charm and jokes to keep it going.

I will say that the main villain is kind of stupid and his jokes wear out fast, and some of the side characters are a bit boring though. But overall, not bad, very good for the whole family.
