Review of Capturing the Friedmans (2003) by David F — 05 Feb 2013
If anyone ever wants to see a documentary where by the end it is unclear as to what you think of the people involved, knowing that your friend could have the exact opposite opinion than you, this is the doc for you.
Incredible story, only made more incredible by the fact that it's chock full of real life home video and audio footage. Never mind that the director apparently had set out to make a documentary about clowns to entertain at kids parties.
Disturbing and awful, but a wonderfully crafted documentary.
