I think what many of the reviewers fail to understand is that Pixar's movie are meant to be geared toward both children and adults. There have definitely been a couple slip ups but Cars 3 is not one of those.

Cars 3 rides that fine line of humor that any age can laugh at. While it doesn't have the emotional impact as say Up, it still had this 20 something crying pretty consistently. I will admit there are a lot of racing scenes.

However, they are a filmed in a true breathtaking manner that had even me, a non car enthusiast, sitting at the edge of my seat. To me, it seems like Pixar is back to putting the story before profit.
