Review of Child's Play 3 (1991) by Nitpicker . — 17 Sep 2018
Pros.
-Even though it's not as good as the first two, it's still watchable, but the quality is starting to go down now.
-I kinda like the military setting.
- Justin Whalin is good as Andy. I also liked Tyler and De Silva.
-Puppet still looks good, but at this point the animatronics will always be good.
Cons.
-They can't hear the difference between paintball and a live round? They fire several more rounds after they hit Shelton. They can't hear that?
-Chucky became a wise-cracker.
-There's no suspense anymore.
-It's very clear Chucky is the only star that matters now. You're just waiting to see what Chucky will do next.
-Andy's mother still doesn't return. It's not entirely clear what happened to her, other then she's still dealing with the events of the first one. But it's obvious several years have passed; does she not want her son back?
-It seems like Chucky had more than enough time to get into Tyler's body. He should have transferred.
-I didn't like that Whitehurst or Shelton died.
