Review of Christine (2016) by Art L — 01 Nov 2016
It keeps the viewer on edge with its constant and effective hints as to what the ultimate end will be for the lead, played incredibly well by Rebecca Hall. It's a great commentary on journalism and news while also providing an interesting message regarding the expectations we place on ourselves, and more specifically how difficult it can be to work in a male-dominated field.
It has a subtle sense of humor that goes a long way as the rest of the film is dark, but not to the point of being off-putting.
