Review of Christopher Robin (2018) by Mani P — 13 Jan 2019
Christopher Robin is a live action version of Winnie the Pooh. Really good CGI that makes the Winnie the Pooh characters look like real life teddy bears. Very good acting/voice acting freom the CGI characters and the live action characters.
The style is good and fits the time of when the film is based. Very good set design from the props to the locations. Good music that fits the film throughout. When it is supposed to be funny there is some good comedy and a few okay bits of comedy.
Really good characters from Winnie the Pooh to Christopher Robin. My favourite character is probably Pooh and my worst character was Hayley Atwells character. She says some stupid things to do with Christopher Robins job and how he doesnt spend enough time with his family.
There are a few things that annoy me which are just little things like a few lines of dialogue and a few character choices. This film also has loads of nostalgia which I am fine with, and the strongest part about this film is how emotional and heartwarming it is.
Over all I give it a 8/10.
