Review of Cinderella (2021) by Henni — 09 Sep 2021

This ambitious re-make of the old classic left me hanging with its badly written story-arcs and even worse casting. The only good character choice that was made was Billy Porter as the fairy. The decision to have Ella be in a pickle by having to chose between the prince or her dream to become a designer was set up in a good way, but the conclusion was lackluster and boring.
