Review of Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002) by Marcin N — 20 Jul 2016
Though clearly aimed at younger audience, this 2002 sequel to one of Disney's more renowned releases is a decent, light-hearted fairy-tale. The whole plot, being a compilation of three short stories, is controversial due to the fact that it doesn't really focus on Cinderella at all - instead, the Disney princess serves a purpose of a kind guest, which, considering she's technically a main character, isn't exactly a good idea.
However, Cinderella's sequel's strongest aspects come from great, colourful animation and a somehow warm atmosphere - these ultimately make up for a rather enjoyable, if shallow 70 minutes in front of TV screens.
