Good lord, this was a drag to sit through! It's only an hour and 13 minutes long, but it felt longer than that! I like the animation, but literally, that's it. Aside from that, Cinderella II: Dreams Come True is an insufferably dull and boring Disney sequel that is an absolute waste of time.
Oh, but if that's not bad enough, the movie has three short stories which feel like episodes of a TV show that got cancelled yet it markets itself as a sequel to Cinderella by slapping a "2" on it.
That is lying to your audience right there. If you want an actual sequel to Cinderella, then go watch Cinderella III: A Twist In Time. It's a much better follow-up to Cinderella than this movie is because the only goal this movie wants to achieve is fool people into believing it's something that it isn't just so that the makers behind it can find a way to rope in some easy money with little to no effort.
Bottom line, this is a movie you can certainly skip. Just go straight to Cinderella III: A Twist In Time, and trust me, you don't need to watch Cinderella II in order to get what's going on in the third film.
