Ultimately, this is a glorious failure, but I would rather watch ten films in which the writers and directors aim for the stars but never quite reach the outer limits of what is possible, than one film in which a committee has decided who the film is for.

This is glorious visual storytelling that falls short parts, but when it works this is thrilling cinema.
